  • Sexual dysfunction
  • Pelvic floor weakness
  • Prior to gynaecological surgery (conservative management of pelvic floor dysfunction is highly recommended and supported by recent research)

What does pelvic floor physiotherapy treatment involve?

Usual treatment involves a pelvic floor clinical assessment, education on the correct use of pelvic floor muscles and any necessary rehabilitation. The main goal of pelvic floor physiotherapy is to provide high quality, effective treatment and guidance to empower patients to maintain their progress long term.

What other physiotherapy services are available?

Physiotherapy treatment for: carpal tunnel syndrome, pelvic pain, back pain, neck pain, and myoneuralgia.

How long is a physiotherapy consultation?

A first initial treatment will last 45-60mins. Then subsequent consultations are approximately 30-45mins.

How many sessions will I need and how long until I see some improvement?
